Our Start

In 2001, Mark Ray began producing rain barrels on a micro-scale in his garage. Living on a golf course, he started getting lots of questions from golfers regarding his rain barrels and requests for him to manufacture them. The design process was tweaked and enhanced over the next few years as sales grew and the demand for his rain barrels increased dramatically. The decision was made in late 2007 to turn the venture into a full-scale business and manufacturing was handled by Person Industries. By 2008, Epoch Solutions was supplying rain barrels to roughly forty stores in five states in the Southeastern US as well as conducting large rain barrel sales days with municipalities and school organizations. One year later in 2009, Epoch Solutions had expanded to roughly 140 stores in over 25 states including almost every state east of the Mississippi River plus Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, and Oklahoma.

Who We Are

From the start, Epoch Solutions has focused on promoting a deeper consciousness. What we mean by that is that Epoch is an environmentally-friendly, ethically and socially conscious company providing conservation products and solutions with sustainability education to promote a more “People-Friendly, Earth-Friendly” lifestyle. We have been creating a deeper awareness of green products to positively promote people and the planet.

In early 2010, Epoch Solutions was acquired by P&A Industrial Fabrications, LLC, a team of accomplished senior executives with extensive experience in business disciplines both domestic and international including:

What We Do

Epoch Solutions is increasing quality of life through responsible business, responsible products, responsible leadership, and responsible living. Our desire is to make a positive impact to as many people as possible. From our conversation products made from waste products destined for the landfill, to our manufacturing done by folks with handicaps and disabilities, to our intensive community outreach and education about conservation, sustainability, and doing business the right way, we are attempting to touch as many lives as possible.

We manufacture environmentally-friendly products using socially and ethically sound manufacturing and labor principles as our foundation. Then we provide these solutions to retailers, municipalities, churches, and other non-profits. We teach about conservation and sustainability.

Why We are Different

We are not into mass produced, cheap products made overseas with inexpensive labor and manufacturing that affects the environment negatively. Exactly the opposite…We do things the hard way but we do them in the way we consider to be the “right way.” We work to take waste products and re-purpose them into conservation products. We give work opportunities to individuals that otherwise may not have found productive employment, both those with handicaps and disabilities and those without. We do not make products from virgin plastic, polluting the environment and we invest a tremendous amount of time and resources to travel and teach others about conservation, both solid waste and water conservation, about sustainability in all aspects of life and about doing business and life with excellence and a stewardship mindset.
